   I bought these for my husband. He always wears Rockport shoes, as he walks a lot, up hills, etc. at work in San Francisco. He likes them a lot and says that there is “no break-in time” and that they feel comfortable from day one. My husband hates to go shopping - His shoes woud be in tatters before I could convince him he needed new ones and even then he had to be nagged and begged to go to a shoe store. A few years ago Zappos solved the problem that’s existed throughout our 61 years of marriage. Mike is now on his second pair of Rockport RWT classics and our marriage is saved!

   Rockport. I love the these shoes, and have worn this style for 3 years. I have a hard foot to fit with 12-14 and Narrow (A) width, which makes it hard to buy shoes at all. I would prefer a style like this with Gortex in them to make them more waterproof. I thought your price would have been a little bit better considering it was the same as 2 different shoe stores in the area. However you did express mail them to me at no charge, which was a nice surprise to have them in three days. And would have been less, had I not ordered them on a weekend.

   One of my favorites - I’ve been buying Rockports for the past 15 or so years, which have included several pairs of the RWT Classic. For me, its comfort makes up for any lack of pageantry. I just wish it came in a size 12.5 to better match my feet.

   The “feet” are the problem - The shoes look great! I just cannot seem to get lucky though. I wore these to Las Vegas. The look is good, but I had to change to sandals for the duration. Toe-pain with everything I wear. The most comfortable shoes I’ve had on in several years were the CAT Active-Alaskas. For some reason, they didn’t hurt. Don’t know why I didn’t buy them. Perhaps if they were available in a low style, I would.

   Nice shoe, but a bit pricey. Was looking for a comfortable shoe to stand in for an 8 hour day. Needed comfort and cushioning and also be light in weight.I’m over 250 lbs,and diabetic, so my shoes are very important to me.Have worn Rockports before but never this model, and have always found them to be comfortable and somewhat long lasting. Have had these now for approx. 3 weeks and find them to live up to the Rockport tradition of lightweight and comfortable.They’re also not a bad looking shoe to be worn as either a casual or work shoe. I have tried Brooks before and found them to be somewhat hard and nowhere near as comfortable as these. I did find these to be a bit pricey, and just hope they last awhile for the money. Have also worn New Balance and liked them also, tho not as comfortable as these. Have tried Easy Spirits, and found them to be very comfortable and much less expensive. If spending almost a hundred dollars for shoes is not a problem, then you will not go wrong w/ these Rockports.Ive worn them over 12 hrs a day standing on my feet and have found that ive never even thought about my feet being uncomfortable. All in all a nice looking comfortable shoe with a great reputation behind it.As far as shoe companies go, Zappos is the absolute best.This is the shoe company all others should be judged by!

   This is the 3rd time I have reordered these same shoes for my husband for work. He is on concrete and a walk on pad all day and on his feet all day. These have been the best shoes that he has had for a very long time.

   Rockport continues to Rock! My husband had a pair of these and has worn them so much, they are actually worn out (took years though). Luckily, Rockport still has them and he now has another pair. They are the best!

   They are excellent shoes. The product was what I wanted and came in the time that the company said it would. The shoes are the most comfortable that I have ever worn. No breaking in needed.

   Beware flat feet - Well, I had great hopes for this shoe, but ended up returning it after one day of wearing. I don’t know if it is because I have flat feet, but the top of the shoe rubbed against the bottom of my ankle bone. Very uncomfortable. Finally found them - I had been looking for this shoe in the retail stores, even going to the Rockport store in San Francisco. No one had my size even though they did know that it was available. Luckily a friend had ordered from Zappo and asked if I wanted to try to order it from you. I am so pleased that you not only offer this shoe but that it was available to ship the next day. Thanks . . . I’ll be ordering again and telling my friends about you.
