A great shoe!!! Rockport�s RWT is a shoe that I have worn for the past 5 years and it is the only shoe that gives me great comfort. Before wearing this shoe, I was having severe pain in my heels; the RWT stopped the pain and now I do not have pain as long as I continue to wear the RWT. I own it in several colors and wear it daily and I do find that I must purchase another pair when the heels start to wear down bad. The quality cannot be beat; the fit continues to be very consistent and I can recommend the RWT classic to any one that insists on comfort, quality, and a great fit. My shoe salesman nearly went broke selling these … Bought these at the specialised running store, recommended by the salesman. 5 years later, worn 6 days a week, these shoes still hit the concrete 10 hours a day standing and walking (ok, I admit, all my shoes wear slowly, no extreme pronation or other wear paterns, AND I do shine them occasionally, and take care of the leather sometimes). Bought a second pair just in case I would have to change and to prevent my salesman of going broke, but these first ones won’t give up. Mountain walking, sea shore walking, snow and salt, nothing comes to terms with these tanks. A bit heavy for running, but they easily take me for a 5 miler whenever I forgot my running gear. The only regret I have is not to have discovered them before.
Rockport RWT comfortable for all day wear - The Rockport RWT is a comfortable shoe that does not give you fatigue as the day wears on. It is easy to care for and is stylish for even dress up ocassions. It’s tread is good in ice and snow.
Best of the Best - I purchased these shoes for my husband who has severe, chronic back, leg and foot pain. He is constantly standing on concrete (16-18 Hours per day). He has been wearing them for 3 weeks now and has had an incredible DECREASE in pain. I am very glad that I made this purchase and I will do again. I highly recommend this product.
Best walking shoe, period - Rockport shoes are the best walking shoes, bar none. I walk about 5 miles a day, and I found long ago that dcheap shoes just don’t last. But these Rockports last at least two years, and still are comfortable after all that wear and tear. I have no problem recommending these shoes to anyone who wants real comfort, style and durability.
First shoes that really fit - All the athletic or walking shoes I found locally were only standard “C-D” width or Wide “E-EE” width. When I was growing up I seemed to be able to get shoes that were “A-EE” widths and I used to require a size “A”. Then I joined the Navy and they only had “C” width. Now if I want a shoe to fit I usually found I had to go to specialty store and pay over $150.00, so its great to find a place I get a fair price, the right size and fast service. Thank you Barry
Son loved the shoes - These were given as a gift. I thought they looked great as did my son. He did have to exchange a 10 1/2 W for a 10 W as they were to long. He is very pleased with the look and quality. We would recommend these highly. Rock solid & comfortable! Have been wearing the RWT Classic for three years, six days per week. They wear like iron and I’m still on the original laces. When comfort, fit and wearability are primary concerns, you can’t beat these for the price. In summary A Great Shoe! Just bought my second pair for dress.
