Brooks walking shoes are wonderful! I can wear them everywhere. I got 2 pairs because they fit so well and are comfortable. I have a small foot and it’s hard to find shoes that fit as well as these. I also got them cheaper at Zappos than at another retailer.

Walking on water! These was my first Brooks pair of shoes. I have heel spurs and weak knees. These walking shoes, as opposite any others, allowed me to walk for hours without pain and I don’t even have to insert any insoles. It provides plenty stability. I don’t feel pain on my feet nor on my back or knees after my 90 minute walks on the weekends. I totally recommend these shoes for the comfort and support offered are excellent. Guess Hautte Shoes. They felt wider than marked, but I must say that I have narrow feet. I just order my second pair of Brooks shoes - Ariel 3 for women. Tried at the store and ordered on line (no sales tax, yeah, babe!). They felt very comfortable - I can’t wait to get them.

This is the second pair I purchased of this particular shoe because it gives me good support for walking and I can fit my own inserts in them. I don’t use the arch support provided because of my plantar fasciitis. I have to purchase special ones for my feet.

These are the most comfortable work shoes I’ve ever owned. I’ve been a letter carrier for 25 yr. & have heel spurs. These shoes have removable inserts. I’m able to place my orthotics in the shoes, followed by the inserts & still have plenty of room . They are absolutely wonderful. I recently purchased a pair of New Balance 811’s & these are even better than those, in my opinion.

Pleasantly surprised - I take a wide size and have not been really happy with most of the shoes that I have. These shoes were a pleasant surprise because as soon as I put them on I realized that my problem was that I need more support than I have been used to getting with the running and walking shoes that are pretty much the only Hautte shoes I can wear. This shoe seems to be designed on a straight last, and has a firmer feel of support. Also, the leather looks a little nicer than other walking shoes.

I love beautiful Guess Hautte Footwear. These are not beautiful. But I have developed a series of foot issues over the years that mean I have to have a serious shoe. These have a nice wide toe box, good cushioning in the heel and a firm medial post. I can stand in them a long time without a problem. They come up very high and can be a bit of a hassle to get into, but once you are in them, they are an excellent walking shoe. They are not pretty, but I have gotten over that. Hautte High Heels Sandals.

This style was recommended by my podiatrist. I have found it to be an excellent footwear for me. The support it provides my feet has improved my ability to stand/walk for longer periods of time. I just wish it came in colors other than black and white.

Fit is fine, but I wanted them to be on the larger size and they are. Orthodics fit fine. They’re harder than I expected. I need a well cushioned shoe as I have many problems with my feet and knees. Not as well cushioned as I’d hoped. Kinda come down hard as I walk. Wish they were softer and more flexible.

A bit stiff but great support - I would suggest this very sturdy walking shoe for anyone (like me) who has problem feet or who is on their feet a good part of the day. They accommodate orthotic supports very well and have a roomy toebox.

Great comfort, just what I was looking for. I bought these for a trip to Santa Fe NM, which would involve a lot of walking. My purchase arrived quickly - as usual, Zappos’ delivery service is impeccable - and wore these every other day. We even went hiking for 4 hours straight, and these shoes performed beautifully.

Have worn Brooks walking shoes before as this is the shoe that my podiatrist recommended as my feet tend to roll to the side as I walk. The original pair I purchased was the Addiction style prior to this style. Then they changed to this style. On this style I had to go up one half size larger to get the correct fit. Have tried other walking shoes and they do not compare to Brooks. Brooks is a very comfortable shoe, gives great support and has helped in my rolling to the side as I walk. Would definitely recommend this shoe.

The most comfortable walking shoe I have ever worn. Almost four years ago, I suffered a terrible injury. I fell out of a window and landed on the left foot heel. The heel (calcaneus)was shattered, I also suffered a fractured ankle. It never healed properly due to many complications I won’t bore you with. I have not been to find a comfortable shoe to walk in since then. I had spent hundreds of dollars elsewhere buying shoes and I was still very uncomfortable. Finally, my son in law told me about Zappos. I ordered The Brooks Addiction Walker. I can’t praise this shoe enough. I have been able to walk with my daughter shopping for these holidays without pain. They are comfortable and easy to wear, not heavy. I ordered the Double Wide so my ankle bone would not rub against the side of the shoe and irritate the area. Due to the fact that I have a plate and screws in the area, and I can’t stand for very long in one place, I have to constantly be moving the weight off the foot by walking around. This shoe is perfect for me. It is better than the Orthodic shoes that were made for me after the injury. I gave those other shoes away after I bought the Addiction Walker. I hope this testimonial will help other women that may be in need of a good walking shoe that’s comfortable, light weight, good quality and more reasonably priced than any of the shoes I purchased after my injury. This includes the athletic shoes I bought at another store this past April. I have given away all those shoes. I am so grateful I found Zappos and that I finally found Wide shoes as to support and protect my injury! You CANNOT find wide shoes in local stores… anywhere. Zappos is the only place I know of, that has wide and double wide shoes and at the most reasonable prices. You don’t pay anymore for the wider sizes. I will continue to purchase with Zappos from now on. I am the type of person that, once I find a store that carries what I need all the time, I don’t go elsewhere. The Brooks Addiction Walker shoes have been a blessing to me. I hope they will be for someone else.

Narrow opening for bigger feet - I was hoping this shoe would replace my beloved Reebok DMX Walk Max GUESS Hautee shoes. It did not. It seems a very stable shoe for walking and certainly kept my foot from pronating, which was very nice. However, the padding in the heel for my bone spur was not sufficient. Also, the shoe tends to be narrow and difficult to get on, and shoelaces are way too short. The 10W (my usual size) was just too small to get on without a fight. I tried the 10WW and while the width around the ankle was better, my toes were flopping around in a too big shoe. The heel section tends to run high. Without my orthotic, it was rubbing my ankle bone. Seems like a nice walking shoe, but didn’t fit my feet.

Both of my feet pronate badly creating Morton’s Neuromas which are horribly painful. My foot doctor suggested these shoes in addition to custom made orthotics. While waiting for my orthotics to be made, I began wearing these shoes and they helped almost immediately. Am still waiting for the orthotics. Thanks for getting the shoes to me so fast! Pleasantly surprised - I was really surprised at the comfort and support of the shoe. I plan to order another pair the next chance I get. It is true to size and not bad looking. I only wish that the shoe strings were a little longer…What a great shoe!! This is my second pair of Addiction Walkers. I bought the first pair local than I went online to find another pair. I find them very comfortable. They have great arch support I would recommend this shoe to anyone and especially if you have foot pain.
