   I received this shoe the day before taking off to a trip to New York City. Walked all weekend in this shoe and felt like they were old broken shoes vs. brand new ones. My son wears a size 15 shoe and didn’t have variety or the ability to purchase shoes at our local mall. I just discovered ZAPPOS and was able to buy Rockport, Timberland and now looking to purchase name brand tennis shoes for him. The prices are fabulous and the brands offered were top names just like everyone else has access to with smaller feet. Thank you ZAPPOS this is truly a blessing for my son.

   The shoe fit was no less than what I expected. I had purchased the same shoe several years ago in smooth brown leather. An excellent shoe for spending a lot of time on your feet. I’m diabetic and shoe fit is important. My only disappointment was that the top of the toe on the right Guess Chill shoe had a stain a little smaller than a dime that I could not remove. This was readily visible as soon as I opened the box.

   Rockport OK; my feet, perhaps not - I tried these shoes as a departure from New Balance which I have always found very good. It turns out that the increasing discomfort my feet have been giving me is probably a function of my increasing age and not my foot gear. These Guess Chill shoes will be fine and at some point I’ll be back with New Balance as well.

   Brother - I bought these shoes for my Brother, who has trouble with his knees, and he said that he noticed a difference in the way that he felt walking in these shoes. I too noticed that he walked a little better. I read about these shoes in the Consumer Guide, who gave these shoes a very good rating. I’m glad that I know about them. I’ve worn it before. I have a bunion, and this shoe takes little breaking in to conform to my foot. I have narrow feet, and shoes are hard to find. Rockport does a great job, and Zappos� quick response and easy return makes shoe shopping so much easier.

   Too wide - This shoe runs much wider than marked. I bought a 7.5D, and it’s got to be at least a EE. I have to wear bulky sox to keep my feet from swimming around inside the shoe and the shoestring eyelets pull completely together. The shoe runs wide in the midfoot, such that there is very little arch support. It runs wide in the rear, such that there is very little heel and ankle support. Finally, the woven rope style shoe laces refuse to stay tight; I finally gave up and replaced them�The heel liner is starting to separate where the stitching is coming undone. Otherwise, these are decent, durable and attractive shoes that are worth their price, however, I do not intend to buy another pair.

   I Haven’t Even Had to Replace the Laces! I bought a pair of these shoes in January 2004 and have worn them just about every day since. They have held up like no other shoes I have ever owned–and I am hard on shoes. I am a big guy and was a transit commuter until I retired a month or so ago. I also walked a lot during the day on the job. The shoes are still in pretty good shape and I still wear them. As noted above, I haven’t even needed to replace the laces. A little polish every now and then and they look like new. I liked them so much I just bought 2 more pair. The new shoes look and feel just like the old pair, and I look forward to many more years of service. Most comfortable, Rockport’s World Tour Classic - My husband had been shot through the ankle years ago when he was a police officer. This Rockport shoe gives him the support and comfort that no other shoe has supplied. He has ordered 3 pairs of this shoe. GREAT! Been wearing these for years! I’m so glad that Rockport hasn’t changed this shoe. I’ve been wearing them for the last few years and find them a great all-around, multipurpose shoe. Great for the office, for walking, hiking, boating, etc. Best of all, they come in my size- 7.5 EE. Great Fit - My Husband is on his feet all day and has a narrow foot. If he buys off the rack they never fit. I convinced him to try this way. He could not believe they were narrow and the great fit. He used to sell shoes as a kid. Well he is a believer and he says they are very comfortable. Thanks again for a great shoe. This is, at least, my fourth pair of this shoe in the Tumbled Stone or light color shades. I have a wide foot and can’t wear loafers because of my instep. These shoes are versatile and extremely comfortable. They’re the lightest weight shoes I’ve found. They look classic with nice casual wear, jeans, or shorts. The best part is that I can walk in these for hours if necessary.
